The Brigade QVS Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System (AVAS) is a professional electric vehicle warning sounder, EV pedestrian warning system and quiet vehicle alerting system designed to make electric and hybrid vehicles easier for pedestrians, cyclists and other vulnerable road users to detect at low speeds. Ideal for electric trucks, buses, vans, commercial vehicles, government fleets, construction, mining, logistics, transport, depots and specialist vehicle applications, the QVS combines Brigade’s patented bbs-tek® White Sound® multi-frequency technology with tonal sounds to create a directional and easily locatable vehicle warning within the hazard zone. Pitch and volume increase with vehicle speed to mimic the audible characteristics of a conventional combustion-engine vehicle, providing an effective EV pedestrian alert, electric vehicle noise emitter, low-speed vehicle warning system and quiet vehicle safety solution. The QVS is UNECE R138 compliant and E-Marked to UNECE R10.
